Alyssa & Mike’s engagement session was filled with sunshine, lake breezes, and so many smiles! These two met through the Hamilton Bay Sailing Club, so it only made sense to photograph their session somewhere meaningful—right along the waterfront where it all began.
We started at Pier 4 Park, one of my favourite spots for engagement photos in Hamilton. Between the boardwalks, sailboats, and that wide-open view of the bay, it’s such a dreamy location. The golden hour light was absolute magic that night—glowing off the water and giving everything that soft, romantic feel photographers dream of.
From there, we headed to the Royal Hamilton Yacht Club, where Alyssa & Mike are now members. The marina made the perfect backdrop, and you could feel how connected they are to this place. It was relaxed, beautiful, and completely them. They even brought their two adorable pups along for a few shots (spoiler: they totally stole the show).
