Chelsea & Brett’s engagement session at the Royal Botanic Garden arboretum was an absolute dream from start to finish! Spring was showing off in the best way possible, and the RBG arboretum engagement photos we captured were bursting with colour thanks to the lilacs being in peak bloom. Everywhere we turned there were stunning purple tones, bright fresh greenery, and those rolling hills that make the arboretum such an incredible spot for engagement photos.
One of my favourite parts about photographing engagement sessions at the Royal Botanic Garden arboretum is how many beautiful backdrops are packed into one location. Between the winding trails, open lawns, and vibrant spring blooms, Chelsea & Brett had the perfect setting for natural, candid photos together. The soft spring light paired so perfectly with all the lush greenery too!
These two also brought along a cute little picnic setup for some photos on the lawn, and honestly it could not have fit the vibe of the session better. It added such a fun and personal touch to their RBG arboretum engagement photos and made the whole session feel even more relaxed and meaningful. We spent the evening wandering through the gardens, chasing the best light, and capturing so many genuine moments together.
