Alex & Kaitlyn’s summer Ancaster Mill proposal was absolutely magical! Ancaster Mill proposals are one of my favourites! It may be the historic stone buildings or the lush greenery, but it just makes every shot feel timeless.
Alex planned the proposal under the gazebo structure – the most private spot on the property! While the waterfall is always a top choice, it’s a bit busier, so the gazebo was perfect for an intimate Ancaster Mill proposal. The staff at Ancaster Mill are always so helpful, ready to block off entrances so you can have your moment completely private from onlookers walking by!
It’s important to note that you’ll need a permit to do your Ancaster Mill proposal, but it’s well worth it. The permit comes with staff support, and a great trick is to book lunch or dinner at the restaurant to disguise your visit! Ancaster Mill is also a wedding-favourite location, and I have so much experience here that every proposal and engagement session goes smoothly.
